Anew is a social impact action lab and discovery center located in the West Village. We host interactive events and workshops, an accelerator program for nonprofits, and a retail lab featuring ethically-sourced coffee and gifts.
Who We Are
Events
Anew’s programming spotlights leaders and organizations catalyzing change in brave new ways. We convene audiences ready to embark in an earnest exploration of new ideas, and interested in new ways of engagement that change their communities for the better.
We host a variety of dynamic gatherings across formats, from intimate Solution Smithing workshops, to guided discussions, cultural performances, spotlights and more. Here’s a list of our upcoming events.
The Residency
Our rotating, in-house residency program hosts nonprofit social entrepreneurs who are architecting solutions to real world problems. Every six months, we support a new group of change makers with a customized program to take their organizations to the next level.
Our accelerator program provides work space, resources, and community for second-time, nonprofit builders who see opportunities in every problem, aren’t afraid to dream big, and are grounded in pragmatic idealism.
We host workshops, cultural events, and open office hours to promote the people driving change, while inviting the community to take part in supporting their efforts.
Our goal is to drive greater public awareness of, and support for, what it takes to build and grow creative social impact solutions — both in New York City and around the world.
